Fundraising Tips

Hospice Walk 2008

1. Send for a sponsorship form – it’s free (you can choose to have your form posted or emailed to you)
2. Choose one of 11 walks (including the new Starlight Walk in Belfast City Centre) and enjoy a beautiful part of scenic Northern Ireland. (See map on homepage)
3. Walking is a great way to get exercise and keep fit. It also helps to raise money for Northern Ireland Hospice Care. But don’t forget to wear sensible footwear.
4. Collect as much as you can and enjoy a fun day out with all your family and friends.
5. Bring your dog – pets are very welcome – especially if they are sponsored too!
6. Get family and friends to sponsor you to wear fancy costume for the Hospice Walk and to add to the fun of the occasion.
7. Ask your friends to put their best foot forward for Hospice Care.
8. Some people walk in memory of a loved one. Our New Starlight Walk has been designed especially for those wanting to do this (See detail on Starlight Walk page)
9. Encourage those sponsoring you to gift aid their donation (We can then claim money back from the government which could help us raise many thousands more pounds)
10. Set up an online fundraising page and encourage friends and family to donate online. Click on the links below to set up an online fundraising page and to download instructions on setting up your page.
