Belfast Castle - starting time: 10.00 am

Walk Route: 3.5 miles around the grounds of Belfast Castle

Starting Point: Belfast Castle, Antrim Road, Belfast, BT15 5GR
Finishing Point: Belfast Castle

Directions to Starting Point

From the M2 motorway
take Exit number 1 towards Docks / Duncrue Industrial Estate / Shore Road.  At roundabout take Shore Road exit and turn left at traffic lights.  Take next right at lights at Fortwilliam Park.  At next traffic lights turn right onto Antrim Road. Follow road until signs left for Belfast Castle.

Castle Ward starting time: 10.00 am

Walk Route: 5 miles around National Trust Grounds

New for 2012 - Cycle Route: Approx 7 Miles within the grounds of Castle Ward.Suitable for children and adults. Bring your own bike.

Starting Point: Castle Ward National Trust, Strangford, BT30 7LS
Finishing Point: Castle Ward National Trust

Directions to starting point:

From Belfast Ormeau Road take A24, turn left onto Saintfield Road, Saintfield Road becomes Belfast Road, then Crossgar Road, followed by Downpatrick Street, at next roundabout take A22, turn right onto Strangford Road becoming
Castleward Road.

Antrim - starting time: 10.00 am

Walk Route: 5 miles

Start and Finishing Point: Clotworthy House, Antrim Castle Gardens BT41 4LH

From the M2 motorway take B95 exit towards Antrim.  At the roundabout, take 1st exit onto B95/Greystone Road and go through 1 roundabout.  Turn left at Fountain Hill and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A522/ Fountain Street.  Turn Left at A26/ Castle Way and follow road.  Turn left at Lough Road for the Antrim Forum Leisure Centre.

Portstewart - starting time: 10.00 am on the Strand Beach

Portstewart Strand Walk: 4 miles

Starting Point: Strandhead, Portstewart Strand, BT55 7PG
Finishing Point: Strandhead

Directions:

Follow signs to Portstewart following A2 or B185.Take Strand Road off Coleraine Road. The strand is signposted from this road once you are in the town

There are two walking routes available at Colin Glen.
Route A: 3 miles
Route B: 6 miles

Starting Point: Colin Glen Trust,163 Stewartstown Road, BT17 0HW
Finishing Point: Colin Glen Forest Park

Directions:

From M1 motorway, take exit 3 towards A1 / Dunmurry, turn right onto Blacks Road, follow straight to junction with Stewartstown Road, take left pass through traffic lights. Colin Glen entrance on right hand side.

There are two walking routes available at Larne

Route A: 5 miles
Route B: 9 miles

Starting Point: Larne Leisure Centre, Tower Road, Larne BT40 1AB
Finishing Point: Larne Leisure Centre

Directions to starting point:

From M2 motorway / A8 to Larne, follow Larne Road which becomes Belfast Road, at next roundabout take Circular Road, turn right onto Curran Road, and follow on to Tower Road, Larne Leisure Centre.
